Kids can now learn the following base game skills: Also please note that skills that would normally increase a child skill, will now increase not only the new unlocked adult skill, but the corresponding child skill as well at the same time. Now before we get into the nitty gritty of what skills kids can get now, I do also want to say, that this mod was made to work with my other mod: Kids Keep Skills, which allows child skills to evolve into matching adult skills on age up into a teen, so this mod does not add the Fitness, Painting, Logic, or Charisma skills for kids, as those are adjusted in my other mod. They can’t even learn the comedy or mischief skills either, it’s absolutely ridiculous. It makes no sense to me that kids can fish, yet can’t get the fishing skill, and the same goes for instruments. In order to make sure all downloaded mods will work within The Sims 4, players will need to enable mods and script mods in the game's " Options" menu.This mod allows children to learn and make progress on many of the adult skills that, to be fair, kids are also very capable of doing or learning.
Players should then extract any compressed files within the folder, and be certain that no files are located more than one folder deep within the Mods folder, as the game will not be able to find these files. Here there should be a folder labeled " Mods" - if not, players can simply create their own by right-clicking and creating a new folder. To use and install Sims 4 mods on Mac the process is almost identical, except the " Documents" folder will be found after opening the " Users" folder and selecting themselves. For Windows users, players will want to direct their downloads from the modding site to their Sims 4 Mods folder, which can be found by opening the " Documents" folder under " This PC," then opening the " Electronic Arts" folder followed by the folder for The Sims 4. The Sims 4 makes it easy for users to install mods.
